Gent is in my opinion one of Europe’s hidden gems – small enough to give you that cosy feeling yet big enough to stay fun and vibrant. It also has that medieval vibe due to some amazing historic gems (e.g. Gravensteen castle) yet at the same time retains a industrial edge of a modern city. I love its amazing canalside architecture and tiny streets with the cutest bars and boutiques. If you go for a whole weekend or just one day – you’ll love the city and its atmosphere any time of the year.
Here are a few images from my trip to this beautiful city. Enjoy :)
